SW4 - Clapham South

This project involved the complete conversion of an existing double bedroom into a luxurious en-suite bathroom and bespoke walk-in wardrobe, creating a seamless extension to the client’s master suite.

To provide direct access from the master bedroom, we formed a new arched opening and installed pocket doors leading into the en-suite. A new stud partition wall was constructed to divide the original bedroom space, creating separate areas for the walk-in wardrobe and bathroom.

The en-suite was fitted with a full range of new plumbing services, including a bath, shower, toilet, double vanity unit, and underfloor heating system. The entire space was replastered and finished with high-quality marble floor tiles and marble shower wall finishes. A bespoke recessed shower niche featuring integrated lighting and a marble backdrop was incorporated to add both practicality and a luxury finish.

Within the walk-in wardrobe, we designed and built bespoke handmade wardrobes with additional overhead storage cupboards. The cabinetry was finished with decorative shaker-style beading and hand-painted throughout, creating a timeless and elegant appearance.

The existing master bedroom was also fully refurbished, including the removal of old wallpaper, complete replastering, installation of a dado rail and decorative wall panelling, replacement of electrical sockets and switches, and full redecoration.

The result is a beautifully coordinated master suite combining luxury, functionality, and bespoke craftsmanship, delivering a high-end finish tailored to the client’s lifestyle.
